Original "SWY"
The Ship for World Youth Leaders (SWY) program, operated by Cabinet Office, Government of Japan, is a program that involves youths from Japan and countries around the world. The participants study and discuss common issues from a global perspective and participate in various activities that involve multi-cultural and multi-national exchange opportunities to cultivate international awareness and leadership. The program runs for over one month onshore and on board the ship.

もともとの"SWY"とは
私たちの団体結成のきっかけにもなった、次世代グローバルリーダー事業「シップ・フォー・ワールド・ユース・リーダーズ」（SWY）は、内閣府が実施する国際青年交流事業です。世界各国から集まった青年代表たちと、日本の青年代表が世界的な視野に立ち、互いから学び合い、共通課題についてディスカッションをする約1か月の陸上と船上におけるプログラムです。
様々な研修や交流を通じて、異文化対応力を高め、リーダーシップを身につけ、社会に貢献できる青年を育成することを目的としています。
